A children’s inpatient program provides structure within a therapeutic environment for preadolescents ages five through 12. An adolescent inpatient program with separate male and female units, and separate tracks for psychiatric and substance abuse treatment, is designed for individuals ages 13 through 18 who present symptoms of psychiatric disorders and emotional illness. Both the children’s and adolescent programs include comprehensive patient and family assessments, treatment planning and continuation of care following the inpatient stay. Personalized and community responsibility, individualized goal setting and the performance of alternative coping skills are emphasized.
