Camp activities include daily swimming, art projects and various sports—including kickball, soccer and wiffle ball. Facilities include a 30-foot rock-climbing wall and two sports fields.

There is also a program for children with special needs. Children have the opportunity to participate in inclusion activities; program can be extended to 6 pm for $3.50 an hour. Fees vary by day. Fee: $60/day; $200/week. Campers will learn about the natural world through hands-on activities, interaction with live animals and learning adventures on a 55-acre preserve. The camp also includes traditional activities like crafts, drama and recreation. Daily themes include Lost (survival, shelters), Adventures at the Equator (rainforests) and Breaking the Cryptic Code (camouflage).

Winter Nature Camp features a different wildlife topic each day. The Center’s live animals give children an opportunity to see wildlife up close. Each day includes a hike in the surrounding woods, and a craft and games based on nature and wildlife themes.
