National Association of Mothers’ Centers presents
"Parenting for the 21st Century"
Play…..
An Endangered Activity?
“Play gives children a chance to practice what
they are learning.” -Fred Rogers
Adults play to escape from the world; children play to learn about the world.
Please join The Early Years Matter campaign and child development experts, Alice Brown and Toni Liebman to discuss:
what play is
why it is an important part of every child’s life
how play can be fostered/encouraged by parents
and caregivers
Child initiated and interactive play fosters positive self esteem and independence, and enhances social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development.
