Child initiated and interactive play fosters positive self esteem and independence, and enhances social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development.

Alice Brown has an MA in Education and is recently retired as director of the Adelphi University Child Activity Center, soon to be called the Alice Brown Early Learning Center.  Besides experience in public school and private nursery schools, she has been a long time advocate on issues concerning young children.  Currently she is an active member of LINCK (Long Island Nature Collaborative for Kids).

Toni Liebman has served as an active board member of the Nassau County Association for the Education of Young Children, Vice President of the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children and Board member, Secretary and is currently President of the Board of Directors of the Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect. A Wellesley College graduate in psychology with a Master’s Degree of Science in Education from Hofstra University, Ms. Liebman has continued her education with post graduate credits from Wheelock and Bank Street Colleges and New York University.
